Use the software as Razer licenses it
Razer Synapse is free proprietary software. By running the installer you accept the Razer Software License Agreement shown in setup. This site does not grant extra rights, does not resell licenses, and does not modify the binary.
Razer, Razer Synapse, Razer Chroma, Hypershift, Rapid Trigger, Snap Tap, and the triple-headed snake mark belong to Razer Inc. razer-synapse.com publishes installer facts (version, size, hash, requirements) so you can download with context.
Ethical use
Macros and Snap Tap are your responsibility
Synapse will record a key sequence or prioritize a key pair because you asked it to. Games and tournaments set their own rules.
- A one-shot productivity macro is different from a loop that repeats actions in a competitive title.
- Snap Tap and Rapid Trigger change input timing. Some publishers treat that as an unfair advantage. Read the game’s competitive policy before ranked play.
- Do not use On-the-Fly Macro Recording to bypass an anti-cheat or to automate play that the title forbids.
- Linked Games is for switching profiles, not for collecting data on non-game software.
Transparency
Proprietary, not open source
There is no public repository for Razer Synapse 4. Anyone claiming a full source dump is not describing this product. What you can verify is the published installer: version 4.0.86, 14.23 MB EXE, SHA256 below, recorded 29 October 2025, with Insider build V4.0.86.2608140202 on 18 August 2026.

No-malware clarification
The official Synapse installer is not a crack, trainer, or bundle of unrelated freeware. A security product may still quarantine Razer services because they inject drivers and stay resident. That alert is a classification of behavior, not an automatic verdict.
This site does not wrap the EXE in an extra downloader. Buttons that say Download for Windows 4.0.86 currently point to “#” until the real file URL is attached. If a third party asks you to disable all protection permanently or to run an unknown .bat, stop.
